Obstetric Nurse (RN) – Days
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate, experienced OB RN for a 13-week day shift assignment (7am–7pm) in the obstetric unit. You'll provide holistic, individualized care across the full spectrum of obstetric services.
Clinical Scope
You will independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for:
- Antepartum patients
- Intrapartum (labor and delivery) patients
- Postpartum patients
- Nursery patients
- Post-operative gynecology patients
You'll demonstrate strong clinical judgment, perform unit-specific skills, manage supplies and equipment, and collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Teaching patients and families is a key part of the role.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience as an RN
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
- STABLE certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems
- COVID-19 vaccination (per state mandate)
