Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift work (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in the Emergency Department. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
About the Role
You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your responsibilities include:
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care using established nursing standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities; coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning
- Delegate and coordinate duties among team members
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- Hours: 36–48 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
