Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Travel Nursing Position

Location: Decatur, GA

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Position Overview

The facility's Progressive Care Unit is seeking an experienced RN to care for step-down and intermediate-acuity patients. You'll manage a diverse patient population requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing intervention.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU setting
• Handle ED border/overflow patients within your specialty as assigned
• Float within specialty to support patient census needs across the local service area (main assignment at primary facility; secondary facilities within 15-mile radius)
• Know your work location before each shift begins

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia)
• PCU experience preferred
• Flexibility and willingness to float within scope of practice
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront

Schedule & Commitment

• Guaranteed hours throughout the 13-week contract
• No local travelers within 50-mile radius (relocation required)
• Consistent AM shift schedule
