Operating Room (OR) – Travel RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a travel RN for a 13-week seasonal assignment in the operating room. This is a fast-paced surgical environment offering a variety of cases and the chance to work alongside an experienced team.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday through Monday
- Additional Commitment: One rotating weekday shift covering night coverage
- Call Requirements: 2 × 12-hour call shifts per month, plus 3–4 evening call shifts (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM) per month
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Unit & Clinical Scope
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- Circulating and/or scrubbing experience (strongly preferred)
Ideal Candidate
You prioritize patient experience, communicate clearly with colleagues and physicians, and adapt quickly to a changing surgical schedule. Familiarity with electronic health records is a plus.
