Registered Nurse – ICU
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated, high-quality care in the ICU. You will supervise and direct nursing staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and apply critical thinking and independent judgment to support patients and their families through complex medical situations.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
- 36-hour weeks over 48-hour cycles
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to inform diagnosis and care planning
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Supervise and delegate to nursing staff and coordinate with other healthcare disciplines
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in care delivery in a safe, healing environment
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Impella and balloon pump experience required
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience required
What You'll Do
Work in an ICU setting managing high-acuity patients. You'll apply nursing judgment, lead a care team, and coordinate with physicians and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
