Emergency Department | Travel RN | Nights | Lewisville, TX
This is a 13-week travel contract in a fast-paced Emergency Department, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Unit Overview
The ED treats a broad range of acuity levels across main, fast track, and overflow capacity. The unit carries a nationally recognized record of clinical excellence and is supported by dedicated Emergency Resource Nurses and Clinical Staff Support roles available around the clock — ensuring travel staff have backup during high-volume and critical situations.
Clinical Scope
- Airway and resuscitation management
- Procedural sedation
- Chest tube insertion
- Wound care and splinting
- High-acuity critical care presentations
Requirements
- Active RN license (Texas or compact)
- Critical care experience — required
- TNCC — required
- ENPC — preferred
- Ultrasound and strong IV skills — preferred
