CT Technologist — Travel Contract
Laurinburg, NC | 13-Week Assignment
This CT Tech opening covers a Friday–Sunday block schedule, working three 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM). The department serves a broad patient population spanning infants through geriatrics, with approximately 20 visits per day across two CT rooms.
Clinical Scope
The role involves a full range of CT imaging, including:
- Head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue neck, sinuses, lumbar, thoracic, and cervical studies — with and without contrast
- Vascular imaging (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aortic studies) and cardiac studies (calcium scoring, coronary angiography)
- Brain perfusion, carotid imaging, musculoskeletal trauma, and enterography
- Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded display, volume rendering)
- Participation in biopsy and aspiration procedures; drainage procedures
- IV starts, venipuncture, and contrast preparation/administration
- Emergency department and acute care imaging support
Candidates will float within the facility as needed.
Requirements
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required; 3 years preferred
- Valid state or compact license
- First-time travelers welcome
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Scheduling
- Friday–Sunday, 3x12-hour days
- Block scheduling; 40-hour orientation
