Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care on a rotating shift schedule, with potential to float to other acute care units serving similar patient populations.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating 3x12-hour shifts: Night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and Day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
• Mandatory holiday coverage: work at least every other holiday
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 23, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing
• Current, active Ohio nursing license or compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
• Active BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) and ACLS certifications
• Active NIHSS certification
• One professional reference from a manager, charge nurse, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from the past 12 months)

During Orientation

You will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. An acceptable score on both is required to continue. You have a maximum of two attempts to pass each.

Compliance Notes

• Background clearance with no open cases or license hits
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Drug screening required

This is a full-time travel assignment offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care environment while maintaining schedule flexibility.
