Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day (7:30a–4p, 8a–4:30p, or 8:30a–5p)
40 hours per week | 13-week contract | Holidays as needed
About the Role
The facility is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography services. You'll work in a busy imaging department serving a diverse patient population requiring breast imaging across all modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mammography exams using standard, digital, and tomography techniques
- Maintain high image quality and patient safety standards
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members
Requirements
- ARRT Certification in Mammography (must be active at time of submission)
- Active New York state radiologic technologist license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 200 mammograms performed in the last 24 months
- Continuing education: 24 credit hours per biennium (15 in mammography)
- 8 hours training in digital mammography
- 8 hours training in tomography
- Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years prior U.S. work experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Guaranteed Hours: 91 weeks
This is a straightforward, clinically focused assignment for an experienced mammography professional looking for stable daytime hours.
