Mammography Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Rochester, NY. You'll work Monday through Friday on day shift with flexible start times: 7:30 AM–4 PM, 8 AM–4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM–5 PM. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Required Credentials & Experience
- ARRT Certification in Mammography with active New York State license (required at time of submission)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 200 mammograms performed within the past 24 months
- 8 hours of training in digital mammography
- 8 hours of training in tomography (non-U.S. candidates require 2 years of U.S. work experience)
- Continuing education: 24 credit hours per biennium, with 15 hours specifically in mammography
Clinical Scope
You'll perform screening and diagnostic mammography studies, including digital mammography and tomography procedures. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging excellence.
