CVOR Technologist – Atlanta, GA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 49-week contract in the cardiovascular operating room. You'll work 3 × 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) on day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
What You'll Do
As a CVOR Tech, you'll support the surgical team during open-heart and other cardiothoracic procedures. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing the operating room and surgical instruments
- Managing the heart-lung machine and perfusion equipment
- Assisting the surgical team during complex cardiothoracic cases
- Maintaining sterile technique and safety protocols
- Coordinating equipment and supplies in a fast-paced surgical environment
What We're Looking For
- Current CVOR certification or equivalent credentials required
- Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Reliable and professional demeanor
