CVOR RN — Travel Contract | Colorado

This CVOR position offers an engaging mix of complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases in a high-volume operating environment. The suite handles approximately 30 cases daily, including open heart procedures, TAVR, open and endovascular cases, and thoracic surgeries.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call requirement: one weekday per week; one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, rotating with permanent staff)
• 30-minute call response time required; an on-site call room is available
• Holidays not required but preferred if available

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Must be in-state for the full week of orientation (even if initial modules are remote)
• Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility; valid driver's license required

Clinical Scope

• Open heart surgery experience and/or endovascular experience required
• RNs must be able to scrub in, hold the heart, and assist with chest closure
• Float to General OR on an as-needed basis when no CVOR cases are scheduled; occasional float within the broader system may be required in extreme circumstances

Certifications & Dress Code

• BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
• Hospital-provided scrubs (light blue)

Cancellation Policy

• Up to 4 shifts may be cancelled over a 13-week assignment
