Occupational Therapist – Long-Term Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a resident and family-focused team in a long-term care setting. You'll play a key role in developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment programs while collaborating closely with clinical and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support resident independence and quality of life
- Partner with referral sources and care team members to coordinate services
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative facility culture
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic activities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience in a long-term care setting (required)
- Active Texas or compact OT license (required)
- BLS certification (AHA)
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- 40-hour work week with 40-hour guarantee
- No on-call responsibilities
- No weekend coverage required
Contract Details
- 13-week assignment
- Start date: October 19, 2026
