CT / Radiography Technologist — Outpatient & Emergency Department
Greensboro, NC | 13-Week Contract | Days
This dual-modality role requires proficiency in both CT and X-Ray. The position is based in an outpatient and emergency department imaging setting serving a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Schedule
- 4 x 9-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday
- 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Float to other campus locations as needed
Clinical Scope
*X-Ray:* Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Upper and Lower Extremities
*CT:* Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores, Perfusion Studies)
*ED Imaging:* Emergency CT and X-Ray exams across all body regions
Technologists are expected to perform approximately 8–9 peripheral IV starts per day and manage a daily caseload of roughly 20 patients.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT – CT and Radiography (R)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED imaging experience
- Experience with PACS and portable imaging
- Experience with infants and pediatrics preferred
Additional Requirements
- Active license in hand at time of submission
- No candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Current driver's license required for address verification
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Non-billable orientation modules required (approximately 2–4 hours)
- All requested time off must be submitted with the application
