ICU Night Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced ICU night nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work nights in a critical care environment, providing direct patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support high-acuity patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 days per week (3x12)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Norwalk, Ohio
• Expectations: Some holiday coverage required. Time-off requests must be approved in advance; minimal requests preferred during the first two weeks and full weeks off during the assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of critical care/ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active Ohio nursing license
• Travel experience required

Key Details

• Float Requirement: You may float to medical-surgical units based on census and hospital needs. Float assignments will align with your clinical experience and hospital policy, with appropriate orientation provided.
• Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Smoke/Nicotine Free: Required

Note for Prior Employees

If you have worked at this facility in a permanent or full-time capacity within the past 5 years, you are not eligible for this contract. A minimum 5-year separation is required.
