Respiratory Therapist – NICU/PICU
Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

The Role
Join the respiratory team in a pediatric critical care environment. You'll provide respiratory support to neonates, infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients across multiple units. Your scope includes ventilator management (various modes and equipment), high-flow oxygen therapy, non-invasive support, nitric oxide delivery, and airway clearance techniques. You'll collaborate closely with nursing, physical therapy, and other interdisciplinary support services.
Requirements
- 2 years of hands-on experience in NICU or PICU respiratory care
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Valid state respiratory therapist license (Ohio or multi-state compact)
- Supervisor reference from past 2 years
- Background check and fingerprinting (completed on first day)
Key Details
- Scheduling: You'll work a minimum of every other Sunday; additional Sundays possible.
- Time Off: RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and are capped at 5 days total.
- Float: You may be assigned to different units and locations within the health system.
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 not required.
- Orientation: 36 hours provided.
First-time travelers welcome. Prior facility employees are ineligible for 1 year from termination date.
