Emergency Room RN — Travel Contract | Austin, TX

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour days)
• Weekends: Rotating
• No on-call required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Unit

This busy Emergency Department manages a high-acuity, diverse patient population across general ED, fast track, cardiac/trauma, and behavioral health areas. The unit operates with dedicated staff across day and mid-shifts, providing strong team support throughout the day.

Clinical Scope

Travelers in this role can expect to perform or assist with:

• Trauma response and resuscitation
• Central line placement and monitoring
• Airway management and support
• EKGs and cardiac monitoring
• Splinting and wound care
• Rapid infusion therapy
• Behavioral health de-escalation

Required Certifications

• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma experience
• Inpatient holding experience
• CPI certification
