Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel Contract

Windsor, VT | Nights | 13-Week Contract

This critical access facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift contract. The unit serves a broad patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric and requires a clinician who can practice independently across a variety of respiratory care settings.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• Must be available to work two blocks each for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday periods

Clinical Scope

• Independent management of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, various PAP modalities, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Arterial blood gas draws and airway management, including intubation assistance
• Pulmonary function testing (preferred)
• Willingness to learn home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Setup and operation of respiratory care equipment per physician order

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current RRT experience
• Active RRT certification (NBRC)
• Active Vermont RRT license (must be uploaded at submission)
• Active AHA BLS certification
• At least 6 months of prior travel experience (highly preferred)
• Personal vehicle required
• No more than 5 days of pre-approved time off; all requests must be submitted at time of profile upload

Dress Code: Business casual or personal scrubs in any color

Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
