Med/Surg Float RN — Night Shift | Keene, NH | 13-Week Contract
This travel RN opportunity is a Med/Surg float position covering an adult and geriatric patient population. The role requires flexibility to float between multiple medical-surgical units within the same shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 48-hour weekly guarantee (firm)
- Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
Clinical Scope
- Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients
- Patient and family education
- Float coverage across multiple Med/Surg units; must be prepared to work stepdown when needed
- Experience with cardiac drips and stepdown-level practices required
- ICU-experienced RNs are encouraged to apply
Requirements
- 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
- BSN required
- BLS and ACLS (both AHA)
- Active New Hampshire RN license
- Must have personal transportation
- Professional scrubs (no logos); traveler-provided
Holiday Expectations
Travelers must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled:
- Thanksgiving Day, the following Friday, and that weekend
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and that weekend
- New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and that weekend
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered, and all RTO must be disclosed at time of submission.
