PCU / Stepdown

Step-Down RN | 12-Hour Nights | Keene, NH | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is in a step-down unit serving adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on medical-surgical and cardiac care. The position carries a 36-hour weekly guarantee (48-hour guarantee is not available).

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour nights
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required; travelers must be available to work two blocks each for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday periods
• No block scheduling accommodated
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application — no requests will be approved after offer

Clinical Scope

• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Cardiac drip management (required)
• Dementia/behavioral management (required)
• Float to a sister unit as needed

Required Experience & Certifications

• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
• Cardiac drip experience
• Dementia management experience
• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS (required)
• AHA ACLS (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)

Additional Requirements

• Personal vehicle required — this community does not have public transportation
• Professional scrubs, no logos
• All medical/occupational health compliance must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License must accompany submission
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are not eligible
