CT Technologist – 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a high-acuity imaging environment. You'll work Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, performing CT imaging across a wide range of clinical presentations and patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience
- Valid state license/certification at time of submission
- References and copies of certifications required
Clinical Scope
This role encompasses diverse imaging studies including:
- Trauma imaging (head, musculoskeletal, vascular)
- Chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging (with and without contrast)
- Specialized procedures: biopsies, aspirations, drainage placements
- Brain perfusion and carotid studies
- 3D reconstruction and advanced post-processing techniques
- Pediatric and adult acute care imaging
You'll care for patients across all age groups—neonates through geriatrics—in an emergency and trauma-focused setting. The facility processes approximately 220 imaging studies daily across 4 dedicated CT rooms.
Work Environment

- No on-call obligations
- First-time travelers with 1+ year of experience welcome
Contract Details
- 13 weeks
- Saturday and Sunday schedule (no weekday shifts)
- 55 hours orientation
- Scrub color: Any
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
Pre-Start Requirements
- RTO (required at submission; no exceptions)
- Background checks and fingerprinting (within 1 week of contract signing)
- Clinical competency exam required for clearance
