Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care in the emergency department. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with the care team, and ensure continuity through discharge planning. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to work independently while supervising and directing nursing staff activities.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Schedule: 36 or 48-hour weeks (start times may vary: 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Requirements
- License/Certifications:
- Current RN licensure in California
- Current BLS certification
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred
Essential Functions
Assess patient health status, analyze findings, and develop individualized care plans. Implement interventions, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient progress. Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Provide patient and family education. Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate team member duties.
