Operating Room Scrub/RN – Surgical Services
Position Overview
The facility's surgical services department operates 17 ORs on a 24/7 basis, performing a wide range of procedures including general, gynecologic, urologic, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastic, trauma, spine, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour day/night rotation
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every third weekend as needed
- Every other holiday
- 1x on-call per schedule; may float to other OR areas as needed
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- 2+ years inpatient OR experience
- Current BLS certification
- Scrub experience required
- Competency in at least 5 surgical specialties from the list above
- Positive attitude and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Expertise in neuro, vascular, and additional specialties beyond general, GYN, and GU
