Float Pool RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the facility as a Float Pool RN working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 3x12-hour schedule for an 18-week assignment. You'll provide care across multiple units, including the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown/PCU, and ER Hold areas.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend
- No call required
- Full schedule flexibility required; no requests can be accommodated
- One week of pre-approved time off available per contract
Patient Care & Clinical Scope
You'll care for adult and geriatric patients across acute care settings, including:
- Post-surgical patients
- Medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- PCU/Stepdown patients
- Emergency Department holds
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (travel experience required)
- Current RN license (GA or Compact)
- ACLS and BLS certifications
Clinical Skills
- Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Central line and PICC line management
- Care of ventilated patients
- IV starts and peripheral line management
- Cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration)
- Feeding tube care
- Isolation precautions and PPE
Compliance
- All onboarding items due within 48 hours of contract signing
- Modules and 12 hours of orientation (non-billable)
- Full compliance required to start on time
Holiday Work Expectations
If holidays fall during your assignment, you may be required to work them per facility policy.
