Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care to acute and telemetry patients, with occasional pediatric/adolescent cases. This role requires flexibility and strong clinical judgment in a dynamic acute-care environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Days: Weekdays, every other weekend
• Contract: 13 weeks, with possible extension
• Start Date: ASAP

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient changes
• Float to other units, including ICU, as needed to support patient care
• Collaborate with House Supervisor available 24/7 for clinical support
• Work alongside LPNs on the night shift

Requirements

• License: West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in acute care and telemetry
• Certifications:
• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS preferred
• Skills: Telemetry monitoring; pediatric and charge experience preferred
• Residency: Permanent address within 100 miles of the facility

Full submission packet due by noon the Thursday before your start date. Include:

• Work history and specialty skills checklist
• Minimum 2 manager/charge references (past 2 years)
• RN license verification
• Copies of all required certifications
• Vaccination status documentation

Orientation is held every other Monday. Insufficient documentation may delay your start by one week.
