Travel RN – PACU | Wichita, KS | 13-Week Contract
This PACU position is based in Wichita, KS and offers a 13-week contract with a 12-hour day shift (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) and 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Unit Overview
The recovery room manages a diverse surgical patient population, with procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries. The unit runs a structured staffing model with a charge nurse and a full nursing team on days; night coverage is typically handled on a call basis.
Schedule & Call Requirements
- 12-hour day shifts
- Call requirement: 2 eight-hour weekend shifts every 3rd weekend
- 30-minute response time required for call
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Active RN license (or eligibility to practice in Kansas)
