Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Rehabilitation unit in Nashua, NH. Your primary assignment will be in Rehab, with potential float shifts to Medical/Surgical as unit census requires.
Shift & Schedule
- Varied shifts: primarily 3pm–11pm and 7pm–7am
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 12, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and comprehensive clinical documentation, including care plans each shift
- Communicate patient information via bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding
- Participate in daily unit-based safety huddles and quality improvement initiatives
- Identify and help correct patient safety issues within a Just Culture framework
- Monitor and support unit-based nurse-sensitive indicators (CAUTI, CLABSI, C. difficile, pressure injuries, falls)
- Mentor nursing students and serve as a preceptor for newly hired nurses
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture that promotes well-being and reduces alarm fatigue
Requirements
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification (required prior to orientation completion; CPI training preferred)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
What to Know
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
