MRI Technologist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment. You'll work 5x8-hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM in a busy radiology department serving adult acute care and outpatient patients.
Requirements
- ARRT (R)(MR) certification
- 2+ years of MRI experience
- Active Virginia license at time of submission
- Knowledge of radiation safety
What You'll Do
You'll operate multiple MRI systems and perform imaging for a diverse patient population. This role includes online charting in the facility's electronic health record system, with orientation and training provided.
Shift & Schedule Details
- Night: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 5 days per week
- 13-week contract
- Grey scrubs
- Expect to work some holidays; minimal time-off requests preferred during the assignment
Facility Policies
- Smoke/nicotine-free facility
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); medical exemptions considered
- One submission per job ID
Orientation
You'll participate in facility-specific orientation modules (up to 7 hours, non-billable) and electronic health record training based on your prior experience. Previous experience at this facility within the past 6 months may waive some training requirements.
