Emergency Department RN – Springfield, VT
Position Overview
Join the Emergency Department for a 12-hour night shift (11:00 AM–11:30 PM) in a 24/7 operation serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually. You'll work in a fast-paced environment delivering critical care across the full spectrum of emergency conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required: must work at least one block during Christmas Eve–Christmas Day (plus following weekend) and New Year's Eve–New Year's Day (plus following weekend)
- Maximum 5 days of requested time off for the entire assignment
- All scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application; no changes approved after offer
Requirements
- Vermont RN license (or Compact)
- 2+ years current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting
- Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (American Heart Association)
- 3+ months travel nursing experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Supervisory reference from employment within the past 2 years
