Location: Louisville, KY
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Thursday (4×10)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You'll play a critical role in patient preparation, sterile field management, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedure support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for cath lab cases
- Assist physicians during diagnostic angiograms, PCI/stent placements, pacemaker implants, and other cardiac interventions
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures; alert the team to changes
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Administer contrast media and medications per physician orders and protocol
- Scrub, circulate, and/or monitor roles as needed
- Ensure radiation safety compliance for patients and staff
- Document procedures, supplies, and patient data accurately in the medical record
- Support post-procedure patient care, including sheath removal and site management
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- One of the following: RCIS, ARRT(VI), or RTRCI
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- State licensure as applicable (RT)
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
- Availability for on-call emergent cases (call coverage every 4th weekend plus 4–5 additional week-night shifts per 4-week rotation)
