Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist — Outpatient/Acute Rehab | Ukiah, CA

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 2026

Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (variable start between 7:30–8:00 AM; variable lunch of 30 or 60 minutes)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week | No weekends | No call

This Physical Therapist role is embedded within an acute care rehabilitation setting, supporting a diverse patient population across physical, social, and functional recovery goals. The position involves both individual and group-based care within an interdisciplinary team model.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels
• Establish and communicate personalized care and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Supervise assigned therapy assistants
• Co-lead interdisciplinary patient group sessions

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (required if licensed January 2016 or later, or foreign equivalent)
• Active Physical Therapy licensure in California
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
