Emergency Room Registered Nurse
About the Role
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver rapid, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. You'll work a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a fast-paced environment where clinical judgment and quick decision-making are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments and patients according to acuity and urgency.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and patient condition changes.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
- Establish and maintain IV access; obtain specimens for lab testing.
- Assist with emergency procedures: CPR, trauma resuscitation, intubation, wound care, and other lifesaving interventions.
- Operate cardiac monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, ventilators, and other emergency equipment.
- Recognize patient deterioration and initiate appropriate interventions promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and the broader healthcare team.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care across medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and emergency preparedness initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification (may be required).
- TNCC certification (preferred or required).
- Previous emergency department, critical care, or acute-care nursing experience preferred.

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
