Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the operating room. You'll work days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse, performing patient care functions in accordance with Maine Board of Nursing standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
- License: Current Maine RN license or compact license
- Education: ASN required; BSN preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and IV certification
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred
- Skills: Strong teamwork and communication abilities; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Days, 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Orientation: Up to 16 hours unpaid
Important Notes
- The facility retains the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will receive a local rate adjustment.
