Labor & Delivery RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a full-time position with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Unit Details
Clinical Responsibilities
- Manage laboring patients from admission through delivery
- Circulate cesarean sections
- Provide evidence-based intrapartum care and fetal monitoring
- Collaborate with obstetric providers, anesthesia, and support staff
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- C-EFM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Schedule & Expectations
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, four nights per week
- Four weekend shifts per four-week schedule
- May float to postpartum unit as needed
- Wear royal blue scrubs
