Position Details

About the Role
The facility is seeking a Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team on an evening shift basis. You will be responsible for medication dispensing, clinical consultation, and ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical practices across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications per prescriptions and facility protocols
- Conduct medication therapy reviews and provide clinical recommendations
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff regarding medication-related questions
- Monitor for drug interactions and adverse effects
- Support inventory management and medication safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- Current Pharmacist license (Texas)
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
