Cardiac Intervention Radiology Technician
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac intervention radiology department is seeking an experienced technician for a 13-week contract in a 3-room suite managing high-acuity structural heart and interventional cardiac procedures.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Call: 3 shifts per two-week period; weekend call every 6 weeks (Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Float: May be assigned to nearby sister facilities; float refusal may result in assignment termination
- Start Date: ASAP
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- California CLS License (required at submission)
- Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, CA CRRT State License, Fluoroscopy Permit
- 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Valid California license
Clinical Skills & Procedures
You'll perform a wide range of interventional procedures including:
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), TAVR, and carotid stenting
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
- Central venous access, port placement, and PICC line management
- Embolization, IVC filter placement/removal, and endovascular interventions
- Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP and Impella insertion
- Rotablator atherectomy and vascular closure systems
Patient Population
Adults and geriatric patients presenting for structural heart intervention and advanced cardiac imaging.

- No scrub requirement for call shifts
