PACU Registered Nurse – Bryan, TX

Contract: 42 weeks | Start Date: October 19, 2026 | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Shift: 12-hour days, 0800–2030, with required on-call. Call response time is 30 minutes. Call is scheduled 5 days per 4-week period (2100–0700 and/or 2300–0700), with some weekend call assigned.

About the Unit

This PACU manages both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recoveries in an open bay layout with a central nurses' station. The unit recovers a diverse surgical population including general surgery, orthopedics, cardiovascular, cath lab, endoscopy, GU, and ICU-level patients. Supportive resources include telemetry, ventilator capability, on-site hospitalist/intensivist coverage, 24/7 pharmacy, and a dedicated IV team.

Candidates must be available to float between two nearby campuses as needed.

Important: This position is tied to an upcoming electronic health records conversion launching 10/30/2026.** Start dates are limited to October 19–28, 2026.

Certifications Required:

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Government-issued ID required at time of submittal

Cancellation Policy: The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment period.
