Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Columbia, SC | 13-Week Contract

This travel opportunity is for an experienced Radiologic Technologist in an acute care hospital setting in Columbia, SC. The imaging department supports a broad patient population across adult and pediatric units, including high-acuity environments.

Schedule

• 4x10-hour shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• No weekends or on-call requirements

Clinical Scope

• Acute care imaging across ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR settings
• Bedside and portable X-ray
• Trauma imaging
• C-arm and fluoroscopic procedures (barium swallow, esophagram)
• Independent performance of all X-ray modalities

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience; 1 year considered with demonstrated full-time acute care experience including OR and fluoroscopic studies
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Active South Carolina (SCRQSA) license — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS required
• Prior experience in a high-acuity setting with pediatric and adult trauma populations preferred
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment

Additional Details

• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census; float assignments will align with demonstrated competencies only
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Pre-assignment compliance modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation occurs on Mondays
• A 60-mile radius rule applies — candidates must meet distance requirements to be eligible
