Cardiac Sonographer | Echocardiography | Days | Reidsville, NC

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with rotating weekends (1 in every 4)

This outpatient/inpatient echocardiography position serves an adult and geriatric patient population with a daily census of 7–8. You'll perform a full range of cardiac imaging studies in a collaborative environment.

Clinical Scope includes:

• 2D and 3D echocardiography
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Bubble studies, color Doppler, diastology, M-Mode, LV strain/LV volume, Simpson's Rule
• RVIT and RVOT assessments
• Portable studies and imaging with contrast agents
• Studies across acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency settings

Required Credentials:

• RDCS or CCI (registered cardiac sonographer — required at time of submission)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Active state license in hand at submission

Required Skills & Experience:

• PACS proficiency
• system experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records

Additional Requirements:

• Float availability to other system campuses as needed
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• Requested time off must be submitted with application; no post-submission RTO accepted
• Background check must show no open cases
• Third-party education verification required
