Respiratory Therapist – NICU Transport
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Respiratory Therapist to support the NICU Transport team and NICU RT team. You'll provide essential respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on the care of critically ill newborns.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Requirements
- Current state Respiratory Therapist license
- BLS/PALS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Fit test clearance
- Required vaccinations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Background check and employment verification
- Valid driver's license
Standard pre-assignment health screening and onboarding requirements apply.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with NICU transport and respiratory teams to deliver critical care to neonates during transport and in the unit. This role demands strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
