Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Responsibilities include , patient assessment, treatment support, and documentation. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely, quality care.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting patient volumes and acuity
