Position Details
- Location: Asheville, NC
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Positions Available: 1
About the Role
You'll join the telemetry unit, providing direct patient care to individuals requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate care while working with a collaborative team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Monitor patients on telemetry systems
- Assess vital signs and patient status
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient changes
- Provide patient education and support
- Document care accurately and thoroughly
Requirements
- Current RN license (NC)
- BLS certification
- Experience in telemetry or acute care nursing preferred
- Ability to work the overnight shift schedule
