Mother Baby / Postpartum RN | Asheville, NC | 13-Week Contract
This travel RN opportunity is on a well-staffed Mother Baby unit in Asheville, NC, serving couplet patients in private rooms. The unit provides comprehensive postoperative and postpartum care, including management of patients on Magnesium Sulfate following delivery and routine newborn procedures such as circumcisions.
Shift Details
- Days: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekends required; no on-call shifts
Clinical Scope
- Newborn assessments and bilirubin management
- Postpartum care including high-risk patients post-delivery
- Float support to L&D and NICU as helping hands when needed
Required Qualifications
- Prior Mother Baby/postpartum experience (required)
- BLS and NRP certifications (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel nursing experience
- Experience caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
- STABLE certification
