Neurosciences RN – Night Shift | Asheville, NC

This travel nursing opportunity places you on a busy inpatient Neurosciences unit in Asheville, NC, caring for patients requiring neurological monitoring, assessment, and intervention.

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 18:45–07:15 (nights)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Unit Overview

The Neurosciences unit manages a diverse neurological patient population requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing care. Common procedures include Foley catheter insertion and IV placement. The unit is well-staffed with charge nurses, CNAs, and a HUC on both shifts.

Float Requirements

Nurses may be asked to float to other medical-surgical floors as needed.

Required Certifications & Skills

• ACLS (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
• Neuro nursing experience (strongly preferred)
