Emergency Department Nurse

About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in a high-volume setting that handles trauma, stroke, and behavioral health cases. This team is known for strong collaboration, real-time feedback, and a welcoming culture.
Patient Care & Scope
- Work across all ED areas with no floating outside the department
- Support trauma and comprehensive stroke center operations
- Implement AIDET principles and maintain positive patient experience standards
Schedule & Commitment
- Every-other-weekend rotation required
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state specified upon assignment)
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience; at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC
- CPI certification required by hire date
Preferred
- Experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
- Prior HCA healthcare experience
