Medical-Surgical Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking experienced medical-surgical nurses for a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift. This is an urgent need with an immediate start date pending compliance.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour nights per week (36 hours/week standard; 48 hours/week option available)
• Every other weekend off
• No on-call requirement

Clinical Setting

You'll provide care for medical-surgical patients in a critical access hospital environment. Float coverage to the emergency department is required, so adaptability and strong foundational skills are essential.

Requirements

• Current RN license (New Hampshire)
• Minimum 2+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Experience working in a critical access hospital setting
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience
• Previous travel nursing assignments
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
