Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN to join a busy cath lab performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You will work with a skilled team managing adult patients requiring coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology support.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 5 days per week (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Potential to transition to 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• On-call: 1 night per week
• Every 4th or 5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Current RN license (valid state license required at submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 3 years experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Proficiency with charting systems

Clinical Scope

You'll manage a range of procedures including:

• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and stent placement
• Diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations
• Structural heart procedures (ASD closures, LAA closure, TAVR, Watchman)
• Electrophysiology procedures
• Vascular access and sheath management
• Hemodynamic monitoring, including PA lines and IABP placement
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• Emergency medications and dysrhythmia management
