Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight, with exposure to a diverse patient population across multiple clinical areas.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will honor preferred shift requests when possible
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday
• Start date: October 23, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Manage patients on continuous cardiac monitoring
• Potential to float to related units caring for similar patient populations
• Responsibility for ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety oversight
• Interdisciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry
• Active, current licensure: Permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
• Active certifications required at time of submission:
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty (from past 12 months); peer references are not accepted

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• Background screening and drug screening per facility requirements
• BCI/FBI background clearance within 48 hours of contract signing
