ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Woodland, CA

13-Week Contract | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

This medical ICU position offers night shift coverage in an acute care setting, ideal for an experienced ICU nurse looking for a clinically engaging travel assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holidays rotate with core staff
• Bedside report; self-scheduling platform with manager-balanced finalization; schedules posted 4 weeks out

Unit Overview

Float Expectations

This is a first-to-float position. Travelers may be floated to sister facilities within the Sacramento area, as well as to a MedSurg unit at the local campus (maximum 4 patients). Mid-shift floats to another facility are rare but possible.

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• PALS (AHA)

Experience & Other Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Dysrhythmia competency exam required prior to acceptance (pass/fail, 2 attempts)
• Scrub color: Navy; undershirts must be navy, white, or black
