Operating Room Nurse (OR) – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll support surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR environment, working alongside the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12 shifts over 3 weeks (rotating)
- On-call requirements
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid RN license
Holiday Expectations
You must work:
- 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day
- 1 of 3 minor holidays: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve

- Duration: 13 weeks (89 guaranteed hours)

About the Role
This is a hands-on position supporting routine and complex surgical cases. You'll maintain sterile field, manage instruments and supplies, monitor patient safety, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
